The error reads: "Please run this program from the Administrator account so it can set up your license. Once the license is set up, you can run it from any account."
This is because the registry setting for License no longer has the required permissions. Here is the solution:
1. From an admin account, open Run, and type in regedit. Hit enter.
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Licenses.
3. Right-click on the key found in the left pane. Select Permissions.
4. Remove all users and groups from the permissions box using the remove button.
5. Click the Add button. In the "Enter the object names to select" box, type "Everyone" (without the quotes). Click on "Check Names" button.
6. The typed word "Everyone" will get underlined if the system recognizes it. Click OK to return to the main permissions window. Make sure you see only one entry, i.e. "Everyone"
7.Below the same, select the box for "Full Control - Allow", which should also turn "Read - Allow" on. Hit OK, close registry editor and restart your PC.
8. Run the program which was having the error.
